Split Level Garden Design

Somerset Split Level Garden Design

This redesign tackled the upper & lower patio areas in this garden, with a stylish set of steps, with our custom designed handrail, connecting the two levels.

Privacy was a requirement as was covering the existing retaining walls with a new surface. There was to be a BBQ area, raised planters & a small water feature.

Batten screening was used to hide some of the unsightly fence paneling as well as for privacy screening.

Porcelain paving was specified for the upper patio & Indian sandstone paving was a nice contrast and gave a softer feel to the lower area.

The planting requirement was minimal, but easy to maintain, being in raised beds or planting troughs.

3d Visuals of the proposed garden layout, are essential in this scenario we feel, as they make the visualisation of the proposed layout clear to the client as well as being a useful tool for the build phase.
