Grounded Landscape Design

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Grounded Landscape Design to private residential clients (“the Client”).

By commissioning services from Grounded Landscape Design, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

Grounded Landscape Design provides design and estimating support for landscaping and garden improvement projects.

Services may include:

• Garden layout sketches
• Technical drawings
• Material quantity estimates
• Written project descriptions for contractor quotations

Grounded Landscape Design does not carry out construction work or act as a building contractor.

3. Use of Documents

Documents prepared by Grounded Landscape Design are intended to assist the Client in communicating project requirements to landscaping contractors.

Contractors should independently verify all measurements, quantities, and construction details before carrying out works.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

• Selecting and appointing contractors
• Obtaining quotations
• Ensuring contractors verify measurements and materials
• Confirming that works comply with local regulations if required

Grounded Landscape Design does not supervise construction works.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees for services will be agreed prior to work commencing.

Payment may be required:

• in advance, or
• upon completion of the agreed work.

6. Revisions

Reasonable minor revisions may be included within the agreed service.

Major changes to the project brief may require additional fees.

7. Intellectual Property

All drawings and documents remain the intellectual property of Grounded Landscape Design until payment has been received.

Once paid for, the Client may use the documents solely for the project for which they were prepared.

8. Limitation of Liability

Grounded Landscape Design provides design and estimating assistance only.

Grounded Landscape Design cannot accept responsibility for:

• construction quality
• contractor workmanship
• site conditions
• material supply or installation

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fee paid for the service.

9. Use of Images

Grounded Landscape Design may use project drawings or images for portfolio or marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
